It\'s been a while since I\'ve been active in this community. My interest in Linux has been greatly expanded. I have a new job that requires that I know Unix/Linux/Solaris etc... I\'ve been playing around quite a bit with wifi as well.  I\'ll have to start using my Zaurus here at work to do some work and projects. Being able to ssh quickly and easily from anywhere in the building is great.

So uhmm yeah, Im back

I never did get any credit. It doesn\'t really bother me, since they didn\'t include the .color file. They could have used help with their own themes though  They messed up a few spots here and there that I know how to fix...

stmpynode - did you ever get credit for creating the themes?

The first thing I did when I bought my 5500 was beam my contact list from myPalm pilot over to my Zaurus. It worked like a charm. You can beam just about anything back and forth. The Zaurus apps won\'t run on the Palm and vice versa.

Sharp ROMs / Favorite ROM
« on: August 27, 2003, 08:37:05 pm »
Well I finally hosed my Sharp 3.10 installation  It was locking up and claiming there was no more memory. When I reboot it, it went into an infinite loop rebooting. 4..3..2..1.. over and over again. Time to try a different ROM out. I\'m going try out the OZ just because I really like to mess with the setup.

Software / busybox upgrade

i didn\'t modify my .bashrc at all. are you using ls directly on the z or are you using ssh or telnet? one difference might be that im using bash instead of sh for my default shell. i modified my /etc/passwd to change the default shell.

which rom are you using? i\'m using 3.10 and my ls is colored. i remember doing this when i was using 2.38 and it took me a bit of effort to get it working right.
