Transport Tycoon on your ZEE!
« on: June 24, 2004, 11:52:12 am »
Hi!

Just saw this on killefiz. It is an opensource version of Transport Tycoon on your Cx60. Don't know if this is old news or not, but it looks amazing. WIll give this a try in the next few days.

Have a look at the screenshots - DROOL!

Anybody got this working yet?

I got this work on my SL-C760 Sharp ROM without any problem. I'm not into these sims type games, so I haven't played the game much to say whether any problems arise further on. Refer to the following forum for more details:

Zaurus SL-C760/Sharp ROM 1.40 JP
Linux Kernel 2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix, Tetsu Special Kernel 14e
Transcend 2GB SD Card (with SD-Link11b driver)

Actually, there's been a thread on ZUG for a while already (although the initial thread was wiped due to the switch over). Please use that one after reading through the openttd forum discussion, as it is actually pointing to ZUG for further discussion.

Here's the ZUG discussion thread:

It's in the "Linux Applications" group. Maybe it would be better if it was in the "Software" forum, instead?

ps. I've been playing it for quite some time. It's fun, and pretty stable so far. The only tough thing is that it's very small, but performance is pretty dang amazing for all that's going on. Certainly makes me think that higher complexity games are eminently suitable for the Z, if only North American developer support was stronger.
