General Discussion / Printing from the Zaurus

Doing it the other way round...

My USB printer cable doesn't quite stretch to my laptop so I want to (temporarily) use my Zaurus C760 as a network printer server.  If I plug my printer into the Z's USB port, I want to send jobs to the printer from other machines on the WIFI network.

It's got a CF wireless card which works fine, so I guess this shouldn't be too hard to do.  The lpr formatting should be handled by the printing client (in my case an OS X powerbook).

CUPS and SMB .conf files?  Am I looking in the right direction?

Or am I kidding myself?

Mac Issues / Sync with Mac OS X 10.2.7

kylebuttress - what hardware are you running?  Just wondering if OZ 3.3.5 is good for c860?

I\'ve got a c860 running OZ3.3.6pre1 which I installed with no problems.  I can sync with my OS X 10.3 TiBook using both Qtopia Desktop and zCal + Zaurus Mac Sync.

None of the syncing solutions is very good though - Zaurus Mac Sync is very unreliable, and I don\'t want to replace Mail and iCal as my OS X PIMs so Qtopia Desktop is not for me.

Just hoping some Cocoa developer out there is working on a better solution.
