PortaBase serves pretty nicely as a password manager, and runs on the Zaurus, Windows, and Linux desktops (and a Mac OS X port is in progress).  Lets you create Blowfish-encrypted databases, where you define what kind of data to store (and you can sort, filter, etc.).  Of course, I\'m biased since I wrote it...

Thanks, I wasn\'t aware of PortaBase.  I\'ll give it a look tonight.

Did you copy qt-mt230nc.dll to Windows/System32? It needs to be there otherwise it won\'t work.

Works for me on XP, I\'ll try it tomorrow on a W2K machine at work and report back

Stu

Yes, It\'s winntsystem32 on Windows 2000 but I tried putting qt-mt230nc.dll there as well as in the same directory as zsafe.exe.  I even tried creating c:windowssystem32 and putting the DLL there but it still didn\'t work.  When I try to start zsafe.exe it dies with error

The instruction at \"0x00000000\" referenced memory at \"0x00000000\".  The memory could not be \"read\".

I\'ve tried this on two different Windows 2000 machines (one SP3, one SP4) with the same result.

Thanks, that\'s great news.  I already have the SafeDee trial installed on the Zaurus.  If I go ahead and buy the full version now, will there be an additional charge for the Windows version when it\'s available?

I\'m looking for a password manager for my SL-5600 that comes with a windows client.  The only one I know of is ZSafe, which looks like a cool application but I can\'t get the windows client to run on Windows 2000.

Has anyone had any luck with the ZSafe client  on Windows 2000?  Or are there any similar password manager applications with a version that will work on Windows 2000?

Thanks
