Zaurus - pdaXrom / Wpa-supplicant Configuration

this is probabaly a crazy question as I don't use WPA (yet) but is it possible to connect to networks that you don't have all the details of (ESSID/Freq etc) but you know the Key?

For example I go to see my family and want to connect but don't want my dad to rummage around trying to find out all the details - we have the Key, but would like to search for the access point , like in wifi-radar

You can scan for SSID (if it not hidden) and the freq should be found automaticly

I use Beta4 but my GPS-Card doesn't.
Is it possible to switch to Kernel 2.4 without reflash the rest of the OS?

I have the same Problem with my CF-GPS Card (haicom 303)

modprobe serial_cs says:

WARNING: Error inserting 8250 (PATH to 8250.ko): Device or resource busy
FATAL: Error inseritng serial_cs (PATH to serial_cs.ko):  Unknown symbol in module, or unknown parameter (see dmesg)

dmesg says the same as Vitel

Anything I can do to fix it?

it works fine with the .xinitrc file, but then i need to restart the x-server every time i whant to use the keyboard.
I know what I have to write into the script but I don't know where to put the script and how to configure hotplug, that it run the script when plug in the keyboard

I try to write a usb-hotplug script that run just "xmodmap /etc/X11/kb/german-usb.map" when I plug in my USB-Keyb. But it don't work because I don't know how exactly the hotplug system works.
Can anybody give me a tip how to write this script?

I bought a USB-Keyboard and I would like to use the german keymap on it. So I need a different Keymap on the internal Keyb than on the usb-keyb. Is this possible?

You meant mo-keyring?
I've tried also to start it, since mo-keyring did a good job on the 5600. It seems to have a problem with the libsqlite library ...
If I try to use libsqlite3 instead libsqlite it starts but complains afterwards with an undefined symbol sqlite_open

Hi,
i installed Gnumeric but I when I start it I get a lot an error message that the configurations would not work properly.
When I start from the console it seems that some dirs are missing /apps/gnumeric; /desktop/gnome
have I to create them or are the somewhere else and I must to link them?

P.S. I installed everething to /home/user

Hi,
I used befor a 5600 with a sharp ROM and I stored my passwords in keyring. After killing :-( my nice 5600 I bought a C1000 and installed pdaxrom. How can I get my passwords from keyring? It doesn't run under pdaxrom, have I to install a different ROM first :-(

Hi,
I just installed the beta2 pdaxrom am my C1000 and now I try to ust my Targus IR-Keyboard

XirKD works fine, but how can I use the german special letters like ÜÄÖ

zkbdd don't work.
I can start
zkbdd -t targus -d
and I see all the codes comes from the keyboard, but when I start without -d I can't type any letter

What did I wrong with zkbdd?
