Is there any easy way to connect to my work 's vpn (XP Server) using my Z and then handle my work 's PC using my Z 's VNC Viewer?

I had to flash again my Z, but I do not remeber the 2 changes I have to make in .xinitrc for Fxce4...

Well I have to change the line for ROX, but what is the change for the correct keyboard in C3200?

I have Pure Ftp on my Z - 3200 under Beta 3 - and I would like some help on what I have to do to start up the server...

I edit my initd.comf and tried a few times with...

# pure-ftpd &

but with out of luck...

Any help?

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Help Needed!

Hi there...

I found 3 major problems recently...

a)First of all I tried to install the flash plug in for Firefox. As I found out later, Firefox crashes every time I access a flash site. After several installations and unistallation - Firefox still had problems even without the plug in - now I can access flash site while Firefox ask me for the plug in, but after a while, when I go to an other site - without flash - it crashes! I install the java plug in this weekend. You think that this is might be the problem, or shall I search for something else?

I install some ipks on IDE2 and even with 20 MB free, the free percentage shows 0%. Why?

c)I use to overclock my Z without problems, but yesterday it halted 3 times. It did not went white screen or else, just halted. Is this problem caused from the overclock?

I really need to have my Z totally functional and these are really problems for me. Any help is really welcome...

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Xmms Problem!

I used xmms for over 2 months now in order to listen to radio stream. But since yesterday I cannot listen anything! I can play an ogg or mp3 file but not a stream. I search on the forum and I found an old topic about the same problem, but nobody wrote some kind of solution...

Any ideas?

Zaurus - pdaXrom / Overclocking Beta3...

I do not want to break your balls but even after I search, I cannot find how to over clock my Z 3200 using beta3. I found on a post somewhere here, that I can use the "set" command, but it is not working for me - it does not give me the option for clock...

Can someone explain what do I have to do, and is there any ipk that I need?

I have beta3 and rox on my 3200. I installed xfce4 but when I load XFCE WM with "start xfce4" I get something like fontpaths missing?...

I am using pdaXrom 1.1.0Beta3 for a week now and I tried to find out why the eq from xmms is not working. I did search around, but I did not find anything on line...

Software / Apps For Sharp/cacko Rom

Hi there...

I bought a SL-C3200 a week ago and I would like to find out where I can find that program that Cacko rom uses to overclock the machine. I have a hybrid Sharp/Cacko rom - a backup from user Cresh from OESF...
Also what programs shall I use on PC and Z to convert a dvd and play it on my Z?

Greece / New User Of C3200

Γεια χαρά...

Εδώ και περίπου 1 εβδομάδα έκανα δώρο στον εαυτό μου ένα Sharp Zaurus SL-C3200. Μου κόστισε κάτι παραπάνω από 500 ευρώ γιατί με χρέωσαν 93 ευρώ στο τελωνείο! Ήρθε κατευθείαν από Ιαπωνία...

Πραγματικά είναι ένα εκπληκτικό μηχάνημα το οποίο δεν το συστήνω σε κάποιον που θέλει ένα απλό PDA. Μέσα σε 6-7 ημέρες το έχω φλασάρει πάνω από 10 φορές. Δεν φταίει το μηχάνημα βέβαια, αλλά η ελλιπής γνώση μου που έχω σε ότι αφορά το Linux...

Η ποιότητα κατασκευής είναι πραγματικά άψογη και χαίρομαι που έχω και το VPA - μηχάνημα με WM - και το C3200 το οποίο χάρις στο Linux πραγματικά είναι ένα πολυεργαλείο. Μπορείς να το συγκρίνεις με το 9000, αλλά στην πραγματικότητα δεν έχουν σχέση. Αυτό είναι ένας PC σε μικρογραφία. Σκληρός 6 GB, τέλεια οθόνη, USB Host, τι άλλο να πω...

Τώρα και αφού είχα κάποια προβλήματα με την pdaxrom beta 3, γύρισα σε ένα backup που μου είχε υποδείξει ο φίλος silencer51 - τον οποιό και ευχαριστώ για την πολύτιμη βοήθεια του - η οποία ειναι ένας συνδιασμός Sharp Rom & Cacko. Δεν είναι παραθυρικό περιβάλλον, αλλά είναι πανέμορφο και γεμάτο εφαρμογές...

Περιμένω και μια CF WiFi Card για να γίνει το χοντρό παιχνίδι...
