As the existing version for the Zaurus (Cacko) 2.9.1 isn't compatible with the newer version, it would be nice to have an upgrade forthe ipk!

Cxx0 Hardware / beautiful, slim C860

Sorry for this unproductive thread - but I just have to share my excitement with you: I\'m using the C860 with the small battery now, when I\'m not using the wlan or listening to music - and I just cant stop congratulating myself to this purchase ;-)
The C860 just looks amazing all in all silver! It is soo thin, so much more refined: so sleek it looks just like what it is: a highend piece of hardware!
The touch is now very metallic, there is nothing cheap or rugged about it anymore. I just love it! (Even more than I did before.)

Btw: you can change the batteries without having to reboot the Z, when it is plugged to an external power source during the swapping process!

Sharp ROMs / insmod scsi_mod on Cacko Qt "Daniela"

Hi,

I\'m trying to make may ratoc usb-host cf card run on the Daniela Rom (C860). I could install the cfu1-driver_0.0.2-3.arm.ipk and the usb-modules. The card get\'s recognized correctly, but when I make an \"insmod scsi_mod\"
I get error messages:

/lib/modules/2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-embedix/kernel/drivers/scsi/scsi_mod.o: unresolved symbol request_module

The same I get with \"depmod -ae\"


Could someone help?
I would like to mount my mp3 player ;-)

General Discussion / changing alarm sound in opie calender

I couldn\'t find any config file.
In Opie there was at least the clock with an alarm with an mp3 option.
Now with the cacko-rom and the opie PIMs I don\'t know, where the options are set...

Cxx0 General discussions / games for CXXX on Qt?

I know, there was a thread on this before - still I couldn\'t make gnuchess running (plus I\'m not sure how qboard would look on the C860), and I didn\'t like the small cards in the solitaire versions. I don\'t want to run the games with the magnified screen, as this would result in a reboot of the cacko rom (and I also don\'t like it that much).
I tried some other games as well (nethack wouldn\'t install, tetris looks strange with this screen) but for now I haven\'t found a game that would run on my Zaurus and look nice as well.
So what games do you play on the CXXX and Qt? I\'m interested in chess, cards, arcade, action and adventure.

Site Suggestions, Requests, and Updates / forum with netfront

while browsing the forum with netfront on a C860 I noticed that for some threats I can only access  the first messages. With firefox on a gentoo laptop I see then, that the threat is much longer....
Does anyone else have this problem? If this is the  case then this forum really should be optimized for being browsed with a Zaurus, don\'t you think?
