However, by adding the following in your Dosbox.config file at the [Autoexec] section, you can mount and switch drives, precluding the need for a forward slash and colon.

[Autoexec]
mount c /mnt/card
C:\

Of course, replace /mnt/card with whatever directory on your Zaurus you want the C drive to point to.

Found this workaround also and it works. But the game I tried (Ascendency, very nice strategy game) is much to slow. I read that you need at least a GHz processor for games running in protected mode. How is MoO2 running?

so i packaged it up and built an ipk for it

The package is working nicely. But i can't enter the slash which is necessary.

well, to be honest, i'am not sure how the 128M memory are splited. 64/64 i presume, if the first 64 are for RAM and the other 64 for storage, then where are the rom files? is a part of the storage place is takes by the rom?
for my need, i just would like to free more storage memory, not the 'RAM' sorry..., i will edit my message

A new version of Tetsu's Special Kernel has been released, for use on the following models: SL-B500/C700/C750/C760/C860

The new kernel includes an NWFPE patch, which reportedly gives an approximate 10% speed increase in floating point operations. The new kernel also includes a patch for detailed battery monitoring.

Software / Alternative Console App?

Hello,

I have the Qkonsole that comes with Cacko 1.23 beta1 ROM for SL-C3000. However, I have some character decoding / mapping problems with that console in combination with mutt.

Is there any alternative console I can try?

Look at [a href=\"http://www.elsix.org/index.php?w=project&p=250]ELSI[/url] there is a ZKonsole. Maybe this works for you.

What about Justreader? Anyone knows how it works for clamshell models?
I am using it for reading palm doc format on 5500.

JustReader works fine on my C750. So it should work on all clamshells. Have also a look on the FBReader.

X/Qt / Xqt Applications

hello,

i tryed xqt and debian on my c860 with cacko 1.22a. it works great.
i found some xqt-applications in xqt- and cacko-feeds:
sylpheed
dillo
gimp
ethereal
xmms
it would be a great improvement, if I could have a couple of another usefull apps under xqt, not as a part of debian-pocketworkstation :
firefox
thunderbird
abiword
gnumeric
xchm
xfce4
... wishlist is open :-)
had someone a expirience in "porting" or "reconfiguration" of the apps from debian or pdaxrom?
is it very time-consuming?
is somewhere in www a "pool" or feed of this kind of apps?

Software / Hancom Word 1.6

I accidentally (read: stupidly) deleted Hancom Word from my 6000. Does anyone have an ipk of version 1.6 I can reinstall? I can't find it on any of the feeds, and the Hancom website no longer seems to offer the chance to re-download anymore.

Try [a href=\"http://bryandeluca.com/cacko/feed/hancomword_1.6-lite-1_arm.ipk]this[/url] from the Cacko feed. Don't wonder about the lite in the ipk-name. It's for the lite version of the cacko rom.

Thanks, this helps. But how can I make this permanent. I added this line in the .xinitrc file but this doesnt work.

X/Qt / Rxvt Terminal Problem

If I try to launch mc from the rxvt terminal I get the error "Unknown terminal: kterm....". From the xterm it's no problem to start mc.

Any idea?
