wifi-only version

Pro:
 - full screen usage

I love this too! There is however one major issue with that. It seems that there is no way of navigating back in Google Chrome. Does anyone here know of a method of assigning a key to the back function?

Help is appreciated

Gemini PDA - Hardware / A year with the Gemini
« on: April 23, 2019, 05:25:45 am »
A year allready? Wow!

I am very happy with it, it's a real productivity-monster! Getting the job done, wherever I am. No problems with soft- or hardware at all.....until a week ago. The Gemini is getting very hot, especially the screen part. The battery is draining very fast, I think 2 or 3 times as fast as before. I tried uninstalling apps, reboots, no effect.
Sorry for hijacking this thread

So without this latest problem, I am VERY happy with my Gemini!

Same problem here
Before the update, the silver button launched the voice assistant, now it doesn't. Also Fn+space doesn't do anything. All settings are correct, nothing happens...

Gemini PDA - Android / Youtube

After the new firmware, the sound is much better and I can finally use Youtube. However.... The videos all play in fullscreen mode and I cannot scroll down to the comments while a video is playing. Is there any trick that can do the job?

Thanks in advance!

Gemini PDA - General Discussion / Accessories?

I am using an old case that I used for my Casio Business Navigator back in the day. It fits like a glove and has room for a pen and some business cards. I like it a lot.

Mine is from the German brand Dicota, custom made for Casio, but there are others like it for nearly noting on Ebay (often with an organizer included   )

Here's how it looks like:

Gemini PDA - Android / Keyboard symbols

A few tries and reboots later, the keyboard works as it should. I don't know what triggered it, I just hope it stays like this...

whats under "user defined input methods" ? I can't see it on the posted pictures

open gemini keyboard app - desing & layouts - user defined input methods?
The lsit should be empty. I struggled with it too, because I had two entries there. My keyboard start working accordingly when I removed them

It is indeed empty. Tried all things suggested above with the same result: Some symbols work, others just don't. So there is no easy way of typing a question mark. when I use Fn+Sym, a virtual keyboard is shown. I leave that on screen so I can use all symbols. It's blocking quite a bit of my screen, but I cannot find any other solution..

I could only enable it by switching on Google speech to text. This brings however no solution to my problem...
See attached screenshot.

Thanks for your reply. All settings seems to be like described above, still no luck.
The top row keys work perfect with the shift key, others not so good: for example Shift+. gives a > (should be ?)
Fn keys work for about half of the keys.

I also tried a reboot, no succes....

See attached screenshots (in Dutch) for details

I have received my Gemini a couple of days ago and am VERY happy with it. One problem I cannot seem to solve is using the symbols via the keyboard. I have used the Gemini keyboard app to configure the right keyboard layout, all keys and shift-symbols work, the Fn-symbols however not. So I cannot access symbols like ?":;- and brightness...
Some function keys do work, ie Fn-Sym, volume does also work.

The solution is likely very simple, but I cannot find it.
