Qt/Qtopia / Qtopia example apps - where ?

Is there any place on the ZUG where the example apps for Qtopia may be mirrored /

Or does someone have a few examply type application where someone (I) can glean some tips on C++ programming using QT widgets ?

General Discussion / The C760 discontinued ???

I see that even Dynamism has taken down thier listing of the C760 on sale. Now its only the C750 and C860.

So has the C760 been discontinued officially by sharp ? Makes sense if the C860 is the same as the C760, but I thought maybe C760\'s could come down in prices. I guess Japan ate up all stocks of C760 not to leave any for discounted sales.

General Discussion / Whither the SL-6000 ?

There\'s this article here which has details of the three models of SL6000 to be released in the US.

But of course first they are supposed to be released in Japan on Dec 10, Dec 24, and January 23 respectively.

So I guess tomorrow is the day in Japan when there may be some word on the actual release of one model at least.

I never heard that the SL-6000 was being released in Japan at all. I thought it was a US only model as it was a joint development between Sharp USA and IBM.

shhhh. lets keep quite even if we saw one, lest the world comes to know of it ...

Ha, at least me thinks thats the way Sharp would like it to be, all hush hush. Where the press releases (apart from that one lone PR release), where the publicity blitz, where the visibility ?

Sony and all other companies seem to give out stories and pocs and specs to the press before the models are even released so that the market is buzzing with interest and everyone is looking forward to them, but Sharp marketing is of course a different story.

5x00 General discussions / How many SL-5000d users out there?

REC : I have been a 5000D user since the time they came out (way before the 5500 was launched).
Its been as steady as a rock to me.

Have used Paul Flinders / CROW / Cacko rom\'s on it with /home on SD whcih makes the 5000D really usable in real life.

Lately have been giving tkcROM a try (with /home on sd).
Have both 120 mb SD and 64MN CF card (Sandisk).

Well I still dont see it back on.

General Discussion / What the heck is going on?

Even I would love this forum to be a bit less graphics based - not too good on my home dial-up PC and certainly not very Zaurus Opera friendly (scaling notwithstanding).

I think, just a forum home page to start with would be good, the home page announcing ZUG openings around the world doesnt make for very interesting read as a front page. And secondly the few (10-15) forum threads shown at the top on the home page dont show which categories it falls under as a result making it difficult to make out what the truncated thread topic really is about.

A few of my suggestions to make it better. Personally I liked the zauruszone.com forum software.

And seems a wee bit slower than say the older forum (Zaurus.com) but that is understandable.

omin0us, the same happened to me too once, they just post that its delivered, but the van had never come to my house since my wife was in that day.

We immediately followed UPS to one of their delivery stations and picked it up from there. I was that desperate...
