Actually, I was looking for source code of obextool. It used to be on unrooted.net, but no longer. I found a copy at:

These are good batteries - they have about the same capacity as original.

Jon_J, thanks. I'm looking for source code, not pre-compiled binaries.

I just sent a vcard via obextool push (my phone doesn't support ftp) to my phone

Code: [Select]
obextool -i hci0 push addressbook.vcf
I got the bt address and channel from sdptool browse.  This shows the target's (phone) bluetooth infromation.  hci0 is the interface of the zaurus's (at least for me) bluetooth card.

Does anyone have a copy of source code of command-line obextool? I seem to have  trouble trying to locate it...

Interesting... Doesn't it look like CPU scaling not working correctly on OBSD or maybe it doesn't scale VCORE voltage? I'm running powernowd under linux 2.4.20 on the Z, and downscaling cpu freq and vcore voltage seems to greatly help to prolong battery life.

It looks like GPIO18 is available, it's just pulled high.

Hardware Mods / Refitting Cf Card For Sl-c3000
« on: June 01, 2006, 07:49:31 am »
I think there could be some places found inside C3X00 casing to fit small Wi-FI and BT modules. There's a page in Japanese where they stuff a small BT module inside C3X00. That one, and there's also a good spot next to MD on the other side of the PCB. These locations could not be optimal for RF, but then external antennas could be used. Of course, it's a close fit, so modules needs to be very small, and locations needs to be carefully measured and examined.

On the other hand, C1000 has plenty of space inside that makes it much more easier.

I see a wire strap on C3000, but It's hard to see anything on that photo... Do you see it here:

Cool, please let us know how does it fire up against the microdrive.
P.S. My C1000 didn't have copper foil...

Updated http://www.iral.com/~albertr/linux/zaurus/wireless/ with information on I2C bus location (at least on C1000).

Hardware Mods / Abandoned Fit Bluetooth To 6000 To Make 6000w
« on: May 30, 2006, 12:15:54 pm »
Ouch! Sorry to hear about your 6000 disaster... Hopefully, the damage is only the DRAM chip itself, and not the CPU's memory controller. If so, it can be repaired by replacing the BGA chip, just reseach the local shops to find one that does it affordably.

If it's not C09, then what module is it? Somehow, I think I've heard about C19, would it be the one used in 6000 series?

Ahh, sorry, I didn't know that you don't have a C3xxx... Anyways, with SD/MMC driver that supports large cards and price of 4GB cards now under $100, I really don't see any point of getting any C3xxx over C1000. In fact, my modded  C1000 is almost perfect, my only wish would be 128MB of RAM.
