I using a BT USB dongle, and no have any issue on beta3 or r121 .... only slow with moto cellphones...

The speed is about 10KBs in download.
Anyone can post some experience?
There are some driver that can improve bt speed?

With a Moto U6 and another V3 .... the BT speed is very ugly ... about 7K/s(70kbps) ..... but using my other ... Sony w800i ... the connection speeds to 80K/s (800kbps) ...    I this issue stay at fone and not on Z....

This game have two binaries, civclient and civserver ,however u need use civclient.sh and civserver.sh for loads at Zaurus... this is a HOWTO play offline!
1- Start SERVER
$ civserver.sh put 7 AI players b.e.
set aifill=7
2- At civclient loaded by icon, setup a name and connect to localhost port 5555
3- Starts the game!

Thanks for the response - now I see how it is suppossed to work.

unfortunately my C1000 setup with beta3 does not seem to have enough free memory to run it.  I can start the server in a terminal, but when I then try to run the client from the icon it just freezes on the opening screen.

I think I will give the older version a go and see if I have any luck with it/

Try use a SWAP, look at forums for a how to!

For sound works use sdl-mixer on my FEED, any other problem try packages dependences on my FEED before...
This package was tested in pdaXrom 1.1.0r121 only!

1. Udev?  Is there a way to get wifi & switching between networks working then, with the current beta?
2. You're lucky!  I miss my audio so much.  Anyone else experiencing this? C750

Try go to SHELL and load alsamixer , look for MUTED audio channels and unmute it... do it while playing somethink with mplayer....

You need install new uBOOT for SL-Cxx00
- Remove battery
- Put SD with uBOOT install files
- Hold C+D and plug power
- Wait green and yellow lights turn off and remove power and SD/card

- Put a SD card with new pdaXrom install files
- Now Hold (OK) and plug power, wait about +/-20 seconds, the emergency system goes UP
- On question say "y" (YES)
- Now wait for install

- After finish, remove power, put battery
- Hold Power Buttom for 20 seconds +/- and pdaXrom goes start

<b>Note:</b>
if emergency system not loads try manual install see uBOOT

You cant die you SL-C3000 with uBOOT install...

Plz post u last lines of dmesg, just after put USB-Ether at ZHost... I have one with same chipset and this works for me at beta3, beta4 and r121.... but u need up ether with ifconfig or dhcpcd

but the usbfunction.py doesn't start, try to open /proc/deviceinfo/product, that doesn't exist, so i edited the file to override the machine autodetection.

actual problem.. i can't use my planex gw-cf11x, i tried the patches used in beta4 but no luck.

You cant use win32 codecs on ARM, but many .WMV not use win32 codecs....

Use the new uBOOT:
pdaXrom-1.1.0r121-Kathrin-u-boot-akita-current.zip

Try it to reinstall uBOOT ...
1- Remove battery
2- Hold (OK)
3- Plug power supply and start uBOOT instalation

Or try recovery u boot, and next try again to install uBOOT, verify the MD5 sums of the files at SD, after remount...

Beta 1 uses hotplug and beta 4 use udev

Are u using beta4? I have same problem the udev dont creating the device node... and I dont do a solutions... dont have time at moment to do... sry...

This loads the drivers for usb->serial but dont create the device node for it...

Many of my contribe, package, are made using Zaurus, not PC... is better... well this demands more time for compile and make ipkgs, but it works... I do some patchs on code using Z too!

And yeah ... you need create a swap space for compiles some apps... I using a partition... on HDD... using 128MB swap space...
