User Request for Applications / Zx Spectrum Emulator

Hello is there any port of SDL ZX Spectrum emulator? For example I found framebuffer ZX Spectrum emulator here. http://www.rastersoft.com/fbzx.html
Can It be ported to C series easily? Can some "porter" try to compile it? I dont have  any experiences with porting linux appz to Z:-((. I know Java emulator exist, but I had problems with some games on SL 5500.  Thanks who will be envolved.

Sharp ROMs / Cacko 1.23 C1000 Bt Billiontoncf T610 Gprs Problem

Hello

I have problem connect to Internet from Z using Bluetooth Billionton CF card and GPRS with phone Sony Ericsson T610. CF card seems to work OK because if I put hcitool scan I will get T610 <addr>. Also I have paired devices with some PIN. Till this moment everything works OK. But when I try to connet to dial up networking or direct connect throuh rfcomm connect 0 <addr> 1, I am getting Connection refused.
Similar error I can find in /var/log/messages, Fail to open /dev/rfcomm0 Connection refused. CF Card is not bad because if I use same phone with same CF card with my win2000 notebook everything works OK.(I am writing this post through that connection). So phone is good CF card if good so I dont know what's wrong? Can anyone help?
I can also can do some hcidump for debugging but result of hcidump is for me as if I tried to read throwing tea on the floor :-). Same configuration with IRDA working. So I think GPRS parameters AT+CGDCONT=1,\"IP\",\"internet\" and dial number *99***1# are OK. Please help...

Hello

Finally my Zaurus came from www.pulster.de, thanks Christoph for 464 Euro with shipment. And it came with adapter EA-75 which reads 110-240V 50-60 Hz. (Trisoft what about this? You have still price 569 without shipment)

I want to ask some Questions.

1) I would like to connect though GPRS and BT. Where can I find Bluez stack for 2.4.20 kernel? I own Billionton BT card (I know it will be supported in new Cacko but Cacko isnt here yet.)?

2) Where can I find special Tetsu kernel? I would like to watch some videos so I think I need that kernel to improove mplayer performance.

3) Where to find mplayer to that kernel?

4) I'd like to manage Cisco devices with serial console. What should I do?

5) Where is the best place to get USB mini A cable to mahe USB host connection?

6) Is there openvpn 2.0 compiled for C1000?

C1000/3x00 Hardware / Battery Time Difference C1000 - C3000

I want to ask what is difference in time Z lasts to one charging between C1000 with SD 1GB and c3000 without SD? It should be some differece because C3000 feeds hdd and I think that SD card needs less energy than hdd. Does any1 made measuring? I plan buy one of these beasts and battery time is very important parameter for me. Now when you can buy 2GB SD card is difference in space  not so crucial. Than You for info

Security and Networking / Bluez: Billionton Annoying Problems

Hello. I got to work billionton BT CF card with Z. I had to edit /etc/pcmcia/serial, installed Bluetooth applet from maslovsky and it works .... but
1) I have to start BT manually /etc/pcmcia/serial start ttyS3....
2) When I want to connect and BT is UP (hcitool scan finds my SE  T610) in network applet I dont see in menu my bluettoth dial-up. I have to go to settings-> network-> edit bluetooth config -> press OK and _then_ in in network connection applet bluettoth dialup is shown.. and working
So internet connection via bluetooth is usable but a bit annoying. Can any1 help?

Hello

I would like to upgrade my SL5500 to clamshell model. What would you advice me and where I can buy it? I don't mind 2nd hand, my 5500 is also 2nd hand and I was absolutelly satisfied with it.
I didnt buy anything on Internet till today (exept some CD's from amazon) so advice me please about paying methods. I dont have PayPal account but I can create any if needed. I live in Slovakia (now EU) so shipping to Europe is required.

Hello

I have strange problem with USB networking. I am using USB net against Windows 200 Dell Latitude D600 notebook.  When connect Z do cradle and switch it on, everything works for some minutes. Then connection to Z (within 5 minutes) dies without ay reason. I Have to switch Z out and on to have connectivity. Anyone encountered this problem? Need patch kernel or something?

I am using Cacko hybrid rom kernel (with patches for IRDA T610) and TKC rom Qtopia on it installed on SD.

Sharp ROMs / Mount Initrd.bin On Linux Box

Hello. I have 2 questions. Can I run binaries for SL-C7xx models on SL-5500? And second question is how can I mount initrd.bin from cacko 1.22 ROM on linux box to read it and rip off some applications and applets? I have SL-5500 and I would like to use some features from cacko 1.22 rom on my Z. Thnx much for help
