In Sharp 3.13, holding down the 'Cancel' button would suspend the PDA. Now in OZ, it shuts it down, is there any way to set it up so that it will suspend it, and resume it, as opposed to shutting it down?

Angstrom & OpenZaurus / No Gui Starting
« on: October 30, 2005, 12:52:51 pm »
Ok, this is my first time flashing to OpenZaurus. I flashed from Sharp 3.13, and it seemed to work fine. I renamed the zImage to 'zImage', and the opie to 'initrd.bin'. It seemed to flash fine, and it boots fine, but when it get to the end of booting, no GUI starts. I'm left in the command line, and it won't let me login as 'zaurus' or as 'root'. I don't know the password for either. Suggestions? HELP!!!

5x00 General discussions / Gprs/bluetooth. Does It Use Up Minutes?
« on: October 29, 2005, 06:45:08 pm »
So I've seen numerous threads about people using their bluetooth phones to connect to their Z over BT. They then use the connection from their phone to access the internet wirelessly. Does this Setup use up  minutes? Or do you have to pay another monthly data fee? Does this work w/ T-mobile as a provider?

Is it possible to sync my mailbox w/ thunderbird as well as my contacts? I'm running thunderbird in windows, and I understand that both thunderbird and whatever the mail client is both use the mbox format. It shouldn't be too hard should it? Any help would be appreciated.
