System Font Configuration
« on: February 09, 2005, 11:00:38 pm »
I am using C3000, but I think it is similar to other models. I know various font files are installed in /home/QtPalmtop/lib/fonts/. Then I copied some Asian fonts to that directory. Now I need to change the default font that the system is using to the fonts I installed. But I don't know where the system configuration file which specifies which font to use. Anyone know where it is? I appreciate any inputs! Thanks a lot!

On the C860, in my experience, the main system fonts are selected by Qtopia depending on what locale you are using. Unless an app itself allow font changes, you seem to be stuck. This had a lot to do a while back with determining the "best" way to convert the C860 to English (the system fonts chosed by Qtopia for "en" were miniscule!).

PITA, IMHO.
