since posting the first msg I understood - I had to add a SD to be able to unlease the power the zaurus has.
my current setup proc. is:
1. flash the device with 0-64
2. take out all cards and reset
3. clibrate the screen at Opie . powerdown
4. put in a CF with Hentegs cardFS and an empty SD
5. reset and let cardFS do its thing
6. quit opie
7. Install IRK (so I may use the IR keyborad) to SD
8. Install my sandisk connect plus to SD
9. install oz-compat
10. install Kphone/Pi
11. install Opera
12. ipkg-link mount /mnt/card
I am considering moving to a "root on SD" as described at the guide in OZ.
I will test it later.
