Good Day!
I've been holding out on my openbsd install until I have some proof that
I can actually use something other than a text editor for managing my
dates and addresses.
Whats wrong with vi or $EDITOR? ;)
Anyone know if there is something like KA/PI (http://pi-sync.net/)
working ? I really need to keep track of dates and phone numbers (that's
why I have a PDA, believe it or not )
The ports tree has Kontacts(x11/kde/pim3), Evolution(mail/evolution,
Jpilot(comms/jpilot), calentool(misc/calentool), plan(misc/plan).
Personally, I use calendar[0] for reminders/todo's/birthdays/etc,
abook(databases/abook) for contact management, and Mutt(mail/mutt) for
mail. I am also meaning to look up tdl(productivity/tdl).
My PDA toys a while ago was the Palm IIIxe, TRGpro and iPod syncd via
jpilot and/or Kontacts.
For additional ports tree info, go here[1]. You can also search the
openbsd-misc archives[2] as there had been previous discussions on OpenBSD
PIM.
