can someone clarify the use of uboot with a C3000 specially ?
can i use it ? should i use it ?
(in order to use special kernel 2.6.23.1
or can i user 2.6.23.1 without uboot on the C3000 ?

Hmm... After thinking for a while, i begin to agree with you guys.

Then again, perhaps at least a planned hierarchy (e.g. networking > wifi cf card > supported models) will be nice, at least better than a long list of unorganized questions filling up the pages. Clearing them up and relocating them may waste more time than planning beforehand... or not?

A wiki is only as good as the quality of the articles on it : some planning is always helpful.

Bear in mind that given everything will probably change in 4 weeks when we've all got more experience, there's only so much planning you can do.

Yeah. I am gonna do one more big addition to the guide tonight, and then (if it goes well) I will post the whole thing to the OESF wiki, so that everyone can edit it.

Since there are quite a bit of discussion and confusion before and (hopefully less) after posting the draft guide, perhaps we still need to use a bit more caution, especially for those fresh green newbies. I am more concerned about them and I always think I am one of them so I admit I am indeed a bit faint-hearted too.

no problemo! i'm a little busy these days but from thursday i'll be "available"
so i'll open my ftp for you to upload and i'll put them on my web site!

i think i'll try to re-install all from scratch as i installed yesterday some libts things and now my stylus is not working anymore...anyway i think it's better to restart from scratch as i've played a lot with files here and there  moreover sound is definitely impossible to have on my C3000....

for information i've tried to set up bluetooth for dialup networking but i failed to start the dialup; i don't know why actually; perhaps some bluetooth mystery  but as soon as i've reinstalled all i'll try again.
