NetSurf (at least 1.1 & a semi-recent SVN) was rather slow at rendering for me (it seemed to render, wipe the screen, and render again, then wait a bit, then finally finish).

I am using netsurf, it isn't as fast as Dillo, but it's rendering is ok (some errors, but ). I'd recommend to give it a try, it's the best way to find out whether a software is ok for someone or not.
