Keyboard Backlight Won't Turn On Now

Cosmo has been working OK.

But not been using it the past month.

Turned it on last night.

Wanted keyboard backlight, but would not turn on.

Is there any setting I can check or is it a hardware problem?

I think you have android and linux installed. Try in both and if it is not working in both it seems that is a hardware problem. But if it works in one, good news and this is a software problem. Good luck.
In linux type in terminal : echo 45 > /proc/aw9524_led_proc
In android : Fn + Shift + N ( at the same time ) . I think you already have  tried this.( in android) .

OK, turns out I am a big dummy....... 

Got reply from Planet....they asked that I try backlight again using the right key combo; Fn + Shift + N......

Voila! It worked.....

Realized then that I had tried this without the shift key......

Well, at least it's working and I don't need to send in my Cosmo....

OK. Glad to hear that.
But in my previous post I told you to do this. ( Fn + shift + N ).
I think you haven't tried in that ocasion.
