Hi,
I am now looking for help, I have been very happy with my Z and would like to continue to be happy. I called myself upgrading to new ROM, via the USB and it appears it took. What is interesting, in the info section on Z, I see Linux Kernal 2.4.18-rmk7-pxa3-enbedix, but I do not see anything in the ROM Version..this was my first concern. I see the other info appears to be updated for V3, so I am figuring I am ok with the upgrade...
I see the new PDA formats on the Z and I like them a lot and want to keep them. Everything seems to be working on the PDA....But, my lost my synch to Outlook on Win 2000...I got a lot info tied into Outlook... I need and I do live by my outlook schedule. I have re-installed the PC software several times, I have re-installed the Drivers several times...at this point I feel like I am just banging my head and getting nowhere.
The message I get if I start synch from PC is it cannot communicate to the Z, please confirm PC link configuration, done that many times.....If I start it from the Z I get PC-Link error, Please confirm the connection, again done that many times...I am running in circles and now I am dizzy...
I have been reviewing several threads on this site and it seems like someone might have run into this...and I am open to that I did something wrong...I need to know how to fix it... I need some help very badly....I am clueless here.
