is this normal for oz-compat install ??
« on: August 11, 2004, 10:54:48 pm »
below is the output from an oz-compat install.  This seemed to work.

Does this require a ipkg-link??

Dan

# ipkg -d sd install /mnt/card/ipks/oz-compat_0.5-4_arm.ipk
Downloading http://www.openzaurus.org/official/experim...sh_0.5-_arm.ipk
*** Command: add
*** Locating package
*** Found package on /mnt/card
*** Adding oz-compat
*** Done.

Are you worried that there's no GUI? It shouldn't require ipkg-link, but there's no harm in trying it - 'ipkg-link add oz-compat'.

Don't, you also need to install oz-compat-opie, then you'll get an icon on the settings page which you can use to (as long as you've also installed opie-sh) to run the compat program from the GUI.
