There was some talk about xmms a while back.  Anyone find one for QT and have luck getting it to fly?

If 'us' means the 6000 and you don't mind doing a bit of work...you could try to use the xmms in the Jeff Elkins rom-yar.rc4. It worked good on a 5500 so last year I mounted the initrd.bin and copied what was needed to another rom on a 5600 and had it working as well. The bad news is that before I had this documented properly I lost a hard drive with my notes and just about everything else zaurus related(I back up data daily now).

If you have a linux box to mount both roms...take a look and give it a go.

If by US you mean us (read my signature). Then no.

I have struggled with the older Sharp ROM compatible XMMS (version 3, I think) which I have working on my SL5500, and have had no sucess on the 6000. That is why I finally broke down and bought TkcPlayer. It works pretty well, although I prefer the simpler operation of XMMS (I don't need a big fancy library to choose tunes out of, I just want it to play a directory full of tunes). Also TkcPlayer doesn't do streaming audio, only off the local, or near local (read: NFS) drive.

I hope this helps,

Craig...
