Sandisk 128MB + Wifi CF
« on: September 01, 2004, 05:29:03 pm »
Hi,

Has anyone used the this CompactFlash card - the Sandisk 128MB + WiFi in the SL5500 with any success? I'm keen to buy one but haven't found any reports on them with the SL5500 yet.

Cheers,

Daniel.

Nope.  I had the card, but it doesn't recognize as ether from the Zaurus nor Linux.  It needs a special initialization to work.  Google for the card in Linux, there was some work on it.

Don't bother Sandisk on it, though.  They're nonresponsive.

There is success in making the 128MB work - search ZUG for SanDisk. But that isn't enough value to justify using that card...

A more technical discussion on how to make it finally working is going on at:
