May you explain how to do this? How do you turn on the led and where does it get the power?

I basically used this page as a guide.  I didn't want to use light bulbs, because they eventually burn out.  Leds run on an average 10,000 hours, so I figured it should last the Z's lifetime.  I'm still not happy with the switching mechanism, but there is really no place inside to mount a real switch.  Might go with a magnetic reed switch if this one stops working.  Oh, one more thing, DO NOT use super glue on the Z's plastics, they melt.  I used some at first and had to pull the first led out and file off the gunk before it destroied any more of the case.  I soldeder the wires to the power terminals inside the case.  Right now there are two screws still out of the case, it is the two lower ones in the battery campartment.  I don't know why but if they are in, it won't power up.  I think it flexes the case just enough to cause the battery not to make contact.  The led is making contact with the bottom of the screen which is probably flexing the case, I don't know how to fix that.  These are the smallest leds I could find locally.  I wanted some surface mount leds but all I have are some white ones from a dead iPaq screen, unfortunetly they are too high a voltage, and some green ones from a dead cell phone, wrong color.  Ratty Shack didn't carry them, but had the zip-zaps.  Picked up a body kit that has two bodies with four leds each, and some really small motors that I'll use for something.  The wire is from a hard drive ribbon cable, smallest wire in the house.  All in all I'm pretty happy with it.  I think now that I've seen the inside I would have done some things differently.

Nice.
Though I don't quite get where the switch is and how it works.

It's more bare wires than a real switch.  The groove where the slider rides is where it is.  I drilled a few holes in it and wrapped the ends of the wires in the holes.  The metal bars that hold the slider in place have paint on them, so I just sanded a small spot bare.  When the slider is in the down position it shorts the connection between the wires and the light lights up.  When it is in the up position the bar is covered with paint and doesn't conduct so the light is off.  Pretty simple switch, at least as long as the wire holds up.  It will eventually wear out.
