Sl6000 Pda Comparison Pictures?
« on: December 18, 2004, 04:23:10 pm »
I need to ask a favor.  Can someone post pictures of the size of the SL6000 next to another PDA so I can get size comparison ideas?  Height, thickness, etc.  Is it really that tall and bulky?  I guess I really want to know since I never saw one in person.  I know it is cheaper than the C760, so I was wondering if it is what I can use.  It's not that really portable besides putting it into your backpack huh?

I don't have anywhere to post them, but for me the 6000 is too big for normal pockets.  My 760 is remaining as my main pda that I take with me everywhere.  The 6000 will mainly stay at home or "backpacked".
I'm now an iphone user and use my zaurii as serial terminals, perl and shell scripting and when I need 640x480 screens

The 6000 with the screen protector and without an expansion pack is about the same thickness of my 760 and similar width.  Without the screen protector the 6000 is a couple of mm thinner in width and thickness.  Lenth is approx 1.25" longer on the 6000.

Thanks.  That is one giant PDA.  Looks like it should be including everything super high tech: barcode scanner, GPS, Cell phone, camera, glove compartment, etc.
