Suspend Issue
« on: November 23, 2005, 03:09:08 pm »
The C3000 will suspend when I press the on/off key, suspend from the menu, or the apm --suspend command, but it will not suspend when I close the lid. I believe I started having this issue after...
# su
# cd /home/root
# ln -s /usr/local usr
...as per instructions on installing Perl. I'm not sure though. Uninstalling keyhelper did not change this. Also, the LCD does turn off when I close the lid.

Any suggestions?

I'm asking the obvious, but you are also sure that it is enabled in the light/power applet?

Thanks--that's precisely the answer I was looking for.
Though I wonder how it got switched off...
