enable tab in embeddedkonsole?

I flashed to tkcROM on my c700. I want to know if there\'s a way to enable the tab to complete function on this version.. of the konsole?

if not then can I install the version from killefiz over the one that\'s there now? or is it gonna screw something up?

I don\'t have a C-series but on the 5xxx series you can not enable the one with the rom.

If it shows up in packages installed remove it, then install the one you want. If it doesn\'t show up it will not hurt to install over it (you may have to replace a icon)

on my Z I have the tab autocomplete in the supplied console.  I have installed other consoles like qconsole with no problems.  In fact qconsole will install without overwriting so you can have them both accessible

It might depend on what shell you\'re running. Try running \'bash\' and see whether it works then.

You need to ensure that root and zaurus user entries in /etc/passwd finish with /bin/bash rather than /bin/sh, then you will have tab completion.
