nmap for 5600?
« Reply #15 on: February 22, 2004, 12:38:13 am »
I tried 192.168.1.0/30 and it picked up everything on my network including the 192.168.0.x machines which I didn\'t think it would do. Interesting outputs...
Did you try moving the files into /usr/share/nmap ? Maybe it\'s different in the older version?

got the subnet working with 192.168.0.0/32 not 0.1 ok... picky...

still dont have the files mentioned above, and interestingly the nmap ping scan finds ips 192.168.1.x on a number of addresses that dont exist on my network (no, not attached to wireless)...  these are pingable but no response to nbtstat  nor nmap port scans...

the os scan issue still outstanding too but thats because it needs that file...

RichS

If you could give a more detailed discription of how you got around that
libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 error and how to do the sym-link that would be great..

I can try as I don\'t remember details too well. But it wasn\'t all that difficult.
First, fi you don\'t have it, download the lib here:
http://home.t-online.de/home/sonja.walter/...tdc_6.1_arm.ipk

This package will install the 6.1 version into usr/lib

Then in konsole, cd to /usr/lib
type: sudo ln -s libstdc++-libc6.1-2.so.3 libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3
and you\'re done...
