Decent Pdf Viewer For Cacko
« on: June 21, 2006, 02:09:32 pm »
Hi

I tried to install the

qpdf2_render-freetype-2.3.0-070505a-1_arm.ipk

from the Cacko ROM Feed.

It seems to install without errors from the command

Code: [Select]
su
ipkg install qpdf2_render-freetype-2.3.0-070505a-1_arm.ipk

The icon appears, but when you click on it, the hour glass appears for a few moments and then nothing happens. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Thanks, can't see that in the cacko feed, unless it's this one libfreetype_6.3.4-1_arm.ipk If it's not this, is it somewhere else?

Code: [Select]
Qpdf was unable to save your notes. "No such file or directory"

StreamlineCPUs has Picsel Browser for Zaurus, but it only works when the Picsel SD (Secure Digital Card), is inserted. (512MB)
It won't work if copied to a larger SD card, like a 2GB or 4GB. You must always use the original SD card.
Also, it costs about $190.00 with shipping.
It renders PDFs really well, but starts following pages at same location as a previous page.
If you go from the bottom of page 2, to page 3, it will be at the bottom of page 3.
An old review on Picsel:
