Can Editcdg Be Ported?

EditCDG is a small program that came out about 8 years ago.
It is a very useful alternative to using a HEX editor to "Fix" errors in CDG files.
CDG files are better known nowdays as karaoke files.
These files are the "Graphics" portion from a CD+G Red Book Audio Compact Disc.
This program allows you to step through a CDG file, step by step, and has tools that enable the user to repair misplaced pixels/blocks.
I've included the Source in a zip file and 3 tutorials on it's usage.
Also is a screenshot of EditCDG with a CDG file loaded, ready to be edited.
BTW, inside the source zip file is the program for windows, it's called "EditCDG.exe"

It looks like a VB project, which, as far as I know, makes it very difficult, if not impossible, to port.
If anybody knows otherwise, please correct me, but that's my impression.

I should have known. Since this is a Windows program.
Is there a Linux equivalent?
I know a CDG file with graphical errors can be repaired using a HEX editor,
but that is a very loooong and arduous process.....
I have repaired two very rare CDG karaoke files that had very many errors, using EditCDG.
These two songs took about 2 weeks time, (in my spare time) to repair back to their original state.
It would take someone 6 months to fix these same files, using a HEX editor.
