Bedic Viewers In Debian?
« on: December 22, 2007, 09:21:34 pm »
I've been digging through the feeds for a bit looking for something to read bedic dictionary files, specifically that 2005 dump of the English wikipedia. Is anything available? If not, what would be the most likely candidate for working the best?

What is the problem with zbedic?  Why wouldn't you use it?

zbedic is not available in the debian repositories and it is a hassle to compile it for armel. i managed to compile it though, and can send you the .deb if you are interested.

otoh, i would recommend opendict, which is a supported debian package and works well for me. moreover, it supports the use of online dictionaries
