a couple of things. you do need to run ssh first from the terminal before zmacsync could work. ssh root@192.168.129.201
However, I am not sure this is the real problem with why it is not working correctly. I have toyed with it now for a couple of hours and am just getting much.
Here is one error related to having a single record in the z\'s address book with the first name Goober and the last name May. No other data.

Now with further toying I actually had a successful reed. It read all the data from the Mac, and said it wrote the data to files on the zaurus (forgot to save the console.log on that one) but I have not been able to repeat the situation. The only things I have changed are user name setting for the zaurus in zmacsync.
