 I have put it at the top of my birthday's wishlist, maybe I'll be a GDP Win user too at the end of March  Stuff shipped from China to Europe take anyway a long time, I had parcels bought on AliExpress which took 2 months to arrive.

The GPD Pocket price will likely be somewhere in the $500 USD range....

Considering it is a small size, custom design, made in relatively low volume, the price seems very reasonable to me.

And glad that this device will have linux support from the get go....

340$ with a free carry case (which is a must, I bought a PDAir one together with my SL-C1000, I haven't regretted my decision once), plus it seems to offer free international shipping. Sounds like a bargain, at least compared to Banggood (360$) and AliExpress (426$ ??). From the description it seems to be the v2 model, although they are still listing the CPU as a Z8700, but they might have forgotten to update the specs list.

It gives me hope that the GPD pocket will go on sale, or come down to a more reasonable price. I'm also hoping that the US$:GB£ will improve giving my £ more spending power.

What about buying it from the Indiegogo campaign? There's a 200$ discount for those who preorder it from there.

I'm reluctant to be an early adopter, I've been burned a few times, so I'd rather wait 5 months for a slightly revised version that fixes initial problems as well as drop in price.
