Linux Format reports "rumours" of C860 release!
« on: May 15, 2004, 03:26:36 pm »
Yep. On pg10 of Linux Format #52 for Apr 2004, in the \"Embedded Linux News\" sidebar, there is a note reporting:

\"Sharp has announced another addition to the Zaurus family. The SL-C860 is based on the same core design as SLC-750/760 but features a faster processor, more user accessible memory and, if rumours prove to be correct, English to Japanese and Japanese to English translation software. Early examples should be available soon.\"

WOW! <G>

Wonder if the info MEANT to be about an official release by Sharp OUTSIDE Japan?

I\'v emailed LXF and await their reply <G>.
