Conversion from Palm
« on: June 04, 2004, 11:29:08 am »
Anyone have any suggestions on converting from Palm?  I understand you can beam stuff from the palm to the Z, but not with my Palm (it died - hence the Z).  p2z seems to hang forever when run on the Z, so I ran p2zDesktop, which worked (once I got all the Perl stuff I needed), but it creates xml files and the Z is using something else.  Or do I bring the xml files into QTopia or something?

thanks

Hmm, soon as I sync\'ed my Z for the first time it asked where to import data from, I told it to import from Palm Desktop and that was it. Granted all I needed to import was addresses, but still hehe.

My desktop is Linux as well, so I\'m not running Palm Desktop....

hahahah, nevar!

hodor,

Unfortunately I\'ve never tried syncing a palm to a Linux desktop much less a Z, sorry, I\'m sure someone on those forums has though.
