SL 5500 TCK ROM 2.0 Alpha 3 +Sahrp media player

Hi,
does anybody has an idea how to get the media player v1.5 to work.
I have a freshly installed OS and mp as only appl. installed, but it won\'t play any MP3 - instead it drops the appl. to the taskbar.
Any ideas??

With the same rom version I used mplayer with the mplayer shell program (looks exactly like the sharp media player) and the xmms shell for music (looks exactly like winamp with different skins).  

I would suggest doing the same, as I had problems with the sharp media player as well.

It's been a while since I grabbed the files that I use so I don't have links handy, but I can get the versions for each that I've gotten working if you're interested.

n8a, please post the versions you used. I installed mplayer and the MPlayerShell from the ZUG feed ( http://www.zaurususergroup.com/feed/ ) and installed it on my Cacko ROM but MPlayerShell never would launch (mplayer from command line worked though).
