You can say to him:
If he does not fix the English<-> German in the file and send it to me I will remove support for utf8 translation files in the next stable release.
Such that his work will become useless then.
I'm assuming that's a joke? (@.@)

I'll send him a message and see what he says.

No, that is a good reason for him to do what we are asking for.

You can be so mean.
I'd do the French one, but I don't have an AZERTY keyboard

Hi all,
i've just had time to install 2.0.26 and
          - WOW -
the configuration screen, my favourite bug so far, both in Kopi and Kapi behaves (allmost) properly. I.e. it's actually resizing for portrait-mode.
It works perfectly when changing orientation, while in config.
Only draw back in Kapi: when you call the config while already in portrait, the sizing of the contact tab seems to get something wrong, because the list boxes for name extensions are so tiny, that you'ld have to read them character by character, provided you have entries enough for rollbars to appear.

And i still miss my "NOW" button in Kopi.

Apart from that, the perfect PIM-suite still gets better.

Greetz,

j.

Hi, I don't know if this has alrady come up (i didn't find it with a search) but is it possible to turn off the time portion of events in the month view?  I'd rather have more of the event description and if things are sorted by time as they are now, then I can see the basic order of things and can go to the day view to see specific times.

Thanks

Alright then, I'll take a look at them, see if something is missing and, when ready, I'll post a notice. (Hopefully soon   )

Hi,

KO/PI 2.0.26 (fast load disabled) - 6k running SHARP ROM with Fast Kernel

One tap on an item doesn't show the details of it.
Holding the stylus on an item, I get the context menu with some options(Show,Edit,Delete,Clone,...) but I can't seem to tap on any of the options

Configure/general/views: Edit item on doubleclick(if not, show)     (enabled)

What should I do to get it working ?

Thanks

4) What should I do to get it working ?

1) That's the intended behaviour
2) The behaviour changed in the before-last version (you can't hold the stylus on the item and slide it onto the menu, you have a hold, then raise the stylus and tap on the menu. I hate this, and am talking to zautrix about it to try and find a solution)
3) Double click ( == double-tap) on an agenda item will bring either the "show" or the "config" screen depending on that setting.
4) Get on your knees and pray to your deity of choice  Seriously, is there anything else you're confused about, or would you just like to get the edit screen on single tap? I't break some other functionality, I think, but it might be doable.

Hi ev1l,

Quote
That's the intended behaviour
What's the function of tapping once then ? (I get nothing special)
I thought it would give a little summary of the item (like in Sharp calendar app or the same as tapping the "arrow-?" icon and the item) and then double-tap would show more details by the event viewer or edit it depending on the config or no double-tap but just use the hold stylus action to get the context menu.

Quote
you have a hold, then raise the stylus and tap on the menu
Thank you very much. I don't hate it, it's just different from the "normal behaviour" that exists using the main menu. I would prefer the "normal behaviour" though.

Double click ( == double-tap) on an agenda item will bring either the "show" or the "config" screen depending on that setting.
Many times the event viewer doesn't show up after the first double-tapping but after the 2nd or 3rd time. May be I am too slow ?

If "Configure/general/views: Edit item on doubleclick(if not, show)" is unchecked then once I get the event viewer window, I need to  double-tap the icons at the bottom. Is that normal ? I think one tap should be enough.

I love the action of dragging the item at another place or resize it (no need to use the edit window), everything is done automatically, it's kind of cool.

Thanks

Yeah so would I, but apparently it doesn't work on the Zauruses with qvga screens. Dunno what exactly happens. I asked zautrix to make it an option or a model-dependent setting, but haven't received an answer yet.

You probably didn't tap exactly at the same spot twice. It's quite finnicky.

I think that's a problem when the "show" screen is displayed but doesn't have focus. Not sure.

Hi,
i have a minor complaint concerning the focus. Every time i start Kopi (fast load enabled) it has the focus on a todo and ennoyingly i happened to press OK or Enter accidentally and checked the todo without knowing it.  Can't the initial focus be on the menu or anywhere else, less critical?.

Can't you refrain from pressing OK/Enter, or am I missing something?

Well, like i said it was accidentally (sort of big thumbs), which means unintentionally, not meant to happen and of course not realized immediately.

Anyhow, i just thought it could be something to be improved.
