Did you uninstall previous version of kdepim?
I got this error when kopi was loading previous version of the libs.
Maybe older version stays in ram also? I don't know exactly the mechanism involved with shared libs.
(edit Oh and I never think it was a bad idea, I was impressed by the kind of manipulation you were doing)

I didn't remove first, maybe that's my problem.
locate seems to find two kopi's - neither or them can be started.
About the "bad idea", I was only joking.
I'm impressed with what I can do in the debian chroot and was only compiling for fun - as a test. I also compiled tuxcards 1.2 on it (works great).
My goal is getting "Qgis" to work on pdaX or debian. It's in the debian feed, but doesn't render correctly. Recompiling will take quite long, I guess, but I still want to give it a try. Maybe I should setup the cross-compiler and try to get it running on pdaX first, this might not take that long.
Does the cross-compiler include qt3-libs ?
As for the package manager I don't know, maybe it doesn't like to find several packages with the same name, when installing kdepim with ipkg, it told me that it requires bluezlibs, though I didn't put any dependencies in the control file.....

I remember something about the bluezlibs from previous posts, so this could be right, though I seem to recall that zautrix didn't put any dependancies to it.
Try to make a fresh and clean install this evening.
Chero.
