There are all kinds of possiblities It looks like they will initially have versions with an ATA interface so you could use a USB/ATA bridge chip and have something that works on an SL-3000 or SL-6000. Of course consumer availability may be a bit of a problem ... you're not going to find this on the shelf at CompUSA unless it's embedded in another device.
I think they'd be foolish
not to create a CF version for the high end digital photography market, but I suspect that may be a few years down the road.
I wonder what Seagate has lined up to compete with this? We're supposed to see retail versions of Seagate's 5GB CF drive later this year (priced at around $150). I'd dearly love to see them follow that up with a 10GB version
