Now I have to see if I can connect to the WPA (Enterprise - TKIP, MSCHAP, PEAP etc. etc.) wireless at work...

Hmmm... Not having much luck with this. Anyone know if there are log files or something like that where I can view error messages that occur when I can't connect to a wireless network?

Also, anyone successfully connected to a WPA-Enterprise network (MSCHAPV2, PEAP, TKIP) could you possibly post your wpa_supplicant.conf? Thanks!

Hi, I tried to connect to my work access point which is using some strange Cisco LEAP stuff. However, until now I wasn't successful (just tried once for 15 min.) If I find time I will try again.
If you have a look at the examples of the wpa_supplicant.conf it should work since all the necessary features are supported.
I assume it is just a little bit trial and error.

Furthermore, if (I believe it should be) the source code of the original SHARP ROM is available maybe someone can add simple WPA button. This should avoid the manual step to change the /etc/pcmcia/wlan-ng.opts file, which you have to do every time you change the settings in the GUI.

For sure an additional WPA-tab would be even better, to create the settings directly in this GUI.

Hey Anton if you are reading this, is this piece of source code available and how much work could it be to include such a tab?
If you can point me the direction I will try my best to do this.

Greetings
Torsten

O.K. thats a more then a clear anwer
Thought all this is open source but it seems Sharp is not playing the full game.
I saw a GUI for WPA configuration on the website of the WPA_Supplicant. Does someone now whether we can port this to Zaurus?

The idea is simple. When I use my Zaurus I need a good working machine (that's the reason I love cacko). If I use it I'm on the rush and I won't fiddle about conf files and settings just to enter temporary a WLAN connection. Therefore, I would like to have a very simple GUI, which helps me to setup the correct WLAN settings.

Greetings
