Yes, just click the + button while the folder is selected. However, this doesn't work with a directory depth of greater than one, which would be nice. My music is stored Artist/Album/Songs, so if i want to add all of one artist to playlist it requires a directory traverse. Not a big deal, though.
Ah yeah, that's a bug, really. I never noticed because I just rsync a flat directory on my desktop where I just copy a memory card's worth of music.

That sounds like a feature request.

Yes, it is a feature request! And I have another feature REQUEST:
I bought my C3000 with the remote control earphone. It is nicely integrated with the Sharp's default music player: the functions of all buttons are supported by the music player and the power management works greatly too. However the default play cannot play OGG file which is my favorite because even VBR-encoded MP3 is still not as compact as OGG with the same sound quality.
I thoroughly tested the music play function of kino2 and found out the following problem:
1) The remote control earphone CE-RH2 has a MUTE function supported by its left wheel: scrolling this wheel up and down controls music volume and pressing this wheel switch MUTE status. Kino2 does not support the MUTE function from remote control yet.
2) There is an option in Kino2's preference dialog which can turn off LCD display when playing music. This is espeically useful when C3000 is used as a portable music player with its lid is closed. But if music play stopps, LCD display is turned on even when the lid is closed. This is apparently what we don't want. I think Kino2 should be able to detect the status of the lid and decide that: a) if the lid is closed, never LCD display should never be turned on no matter music is being played or not; If the lid is open, then the current feature of controlling LCD display makes sense: turn off display when starting playing music and turn on display when finishing playing music. I noticed that Sharp's default music player can take care of this point very well.
After above two issues are solved, I can completely swith to kino2 player and use my C3000 as a portable music player since it also supports a variety of music files, even FLAC, based on mplayer.
Another requested feature is the display of tag information of music file, such as MP3, OGG and FLAC. I guess right now kino2 uses some default widgets to display tag information, so it cannot display Asian characters all of them are displayed as empty squares. It would be very helpful to use UTF-8 encoding and let user select which fonts to use to display the playlist and the tag info. This is very much like what KDE-PIM/PI does. This method works well even on the not-fully-englishlized OS on my C3000.
Thanks a lot!
