Usb Copy Boxes
« on: March 05, 2005, 07:28:23 am »
I wonder if anyone here have tested USB boxes, which are claimed to provide data transfer between two usb client devices, on Z.
So far I have found two such products on the web:

(1) Sitecom USB On-The-Go-Copy Box:
http://www.sitecom.com/products_info.php?p...id=308&grp_id=1

(2) 2copy2 portable usb data copier:
http://www.addontech.net/products/2copy2/

Both sites say their products  work on virtually ANY usb devices.
The prices are not too unreasonable, compared to Ratoc's CF adapter.  But of course the big question is whether they work on Z.

Check out https://www.oesf.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=11282.  Basically, you show a CF/SD card of yours (attached to the Zaurus) as a mass USB storage device.  This will be the receiver.  The sender will be a USB drive/whatever you want to transfer from.  When you click the transfer button, it will transfer ALL files from the sender to the receiver.  However, this is a theoretical.  No one has actually bought/used one yet.
