I don't know if we're looking at the same ebay item (I clicked the link you provided)... it clearly states it's a C3000, not a 1000.  Also, it looks like the seller is getting rid of qty 3 C3000's as one lot, not just one.

The seller is definitely doing false advertising with the crap about built in bluetooth, camera and phone!

I've submitted a fraud report to ebay...

so after I submitted the fraud report, I emailed the seller and they responded with this:

Quote
You asked:
"I hope you relealize that you are falsely advertising the Zaurus 3000's. They DO NOT have built in bluetooth, camera or phone. I'm reporting this item to ebay."

Hello , Sir, i have this item and this have all accesories from specs. You have a nice day and thank for your time . Regards!!
After this I created a dummy ebay acount, so that I could bid on the item with a really high maximum bid ($6000  ).  Not 15 minutes later, I got an email from ebay (under the fake account's email):

Quote
The following is a notice from eBay Trust & Safety regarding:

Item Number - 5761016817

Item Title - Sharp Zaurus SL-C3000

Our records show that you were a bidder or buyer of one or more of this seller's items. We recently removed all of this seller's active listings and have suspended the seller's trading privileges. Due to privacy concerns we will not be able to share further details related to this seller.

If someone claiming to be the seller asks you to complete a transaction outside of eBay, we strongly recommend that you ignore the request. Transactions for items listed on eBay that are completed outside of the eBay marketplace are not covered by the Buyer Protection services offered by eBay and can be highly indicative of fraud.

If you have not sent payment to the seller, we urge you to not proceed with the transaction.

If you have already paid, you may wish to pursue recouping your funds. Some steps you might take include:

1. Ask the seller for a refund
2. If you paid by check, ask your bank to stop payment
3. If you paid by credit card, contact your credit card company's security department
4. If you have made a payment by money order or wire transfer, you may contact that company for further information at 1-800-325-6000 (Western Union), or at 1-800-926-9400 (Money Gram)
5. If you paid with PayPal, review the Buyer Complaint Process at:

I'm actually impressed with ebay's quick and appropriate reponse to this!

A nice improvement.... the marketplace notifying the buyer, rather than the buyer doing the research and notification

I'm not surprised.  Ebay does not have a money back guarantee so they have to actively keep the risks low for both purchaser and seller.  Amazon on the other hand, has a money back guarantee so the purchaser is protected.  It means amazon loses money with the guarantee and ebay loses money by putting more effort to thwart bad people.
I'm now an iphone user and use my zaurii as serial terminals, perl and shell scripting and when I need 640x480 screens
