Ntpdate Freezes Time? Any Ideas?
« on: April 14, 2005, 09:54:57 pm »
I have ntpupdate installed on my C3000. When I sync and update the time, its fine as long as I have the C3K on. If I turn it off and turn it back on, the time stays at the  time it was when it was turned off. I have to either use NTP again or reset the time for it to get it back t the right time.

So why does it stay at the time at which it was tuned off at?

(terrible english with all those 'at's)

dunno.

on my 6000 I just sync, then kill ntpdate.  it updates my date/time and causes no trouble when dead. it is easy enough to run and kill it a few times a day......
