3.5.3 Bizzare Problem + Few Q

hello guys, long time no see.
just trying 3.5.3 on my 5500 and expirienced strange problem, after installing Konquer and Gaim to RAM and first run, files from linked folders just gone. I've done some manual "ln" for pictures folders and other stuff and only these ones are gone.

BTW oz-compat also doesnt work so Opera just dead.

is 3.5.2 more stable?
any fresh and stable ROM for 5500? old OPIE works just fine but no feeds.

Can you give some more info - as far as I can understand, some symlinks disappeared - were they ones you created, or ones for the apps you installed?

oz-compat has been renamed (IIRC) sharp-compat in 3.5.3 (its in the release notes!)

for exapmle, after installing Gaim I have to link pictures folder to /opt  to make it visible to Gaim, so then app quits link source files gone but links and folders still fine, so basicaly I'm loosing files in  folder which I linked to /opt, same for Konquer, havent test other apps.
