Programs Started On Startup

So, Qtopia starts up a large number of programs on the Zaurus when booting, taking precious resources away from other applications.  Where/how can I change this?

If you are talking about programs such as calendar, addressbook, imagepad etc then you will ned to tap-hold their icons and unselect the "quick start" option for these programs - these prorams will then take longer to start however.

If you are referring to other programs, please list them so we can tell you what can and can't be turned off (some of the processes are linux/kernel processes that you can't get rid of)

Thank you, that works well.  Now I can reclaim more memory for other applications as soon as I get more of them for Debian running with X/Qt.
