Japanese Sl-6000w
« on: April 20, 2005, 11:44:17 pm »
If I purchase a 'local' model, does that mean the keyboard and all lettering will be in Japanese?

i am considering the 6000W from PriceJapan but they state its not an export model, its for the home market?

Anyone purchased one this way?
SL-6000L, CG-AE06 Camera, Battery Sled, Trendnote CF Lan, 6G Hitachi CF
Sl-C3000+Ambicom WiFi
Palm Tungsten C+Seiko Smartpad
Archos PMA400, Archos AV380 Package
Sony UX-50+Extended battery
Psion 5mx,xNetbook (fabulous mininote!)
Apple eMate
TC1000, TC1100, SC3000
...huge credit card bills..!

if its like the c7x's, the hardware keys will have both some japanese and qwerty western characters. The software will be translated to japanese. It's easy to untranslate this and switch languages.
