Settings Resetting
« on: April 22, 2005, 10:35:30 am »
On my SL-5500 running 3.5.3 Collie, I have noticed that on random occasions, settings would reset themselves. For instance, suppose I went into Appearance and set the following:

Style -> Liquid
Colors -> Green
Windows -> Polished

Occasionally, one or more of these settings will be reset to default (Flat or QPE, Liquid and Flat, respectively). Sometimes, its one of them, sometimes more. I have been trying to figure out if there was any activity I was performing that was causing it.

On a related note, I don't reboot often, but when I do, it seems to run me through the entire "Welcome to Opie" dialog, sometimes without going through the stylus calibration routine.

Sorry to sound so vague about this, but I am still trying to track down the details of this, and am hoping someone else has seen it, so we can start corroborating the data.

Thanks,
