C1000 And Streaming Video
« on: April 23, 2005, 12:18:04 pm »
Hi,

I just received my C1000 and I'm so happy with it !!!
I installed a lot of apps (not all of it worked but a majority with some searching the web)

I managed to install VLC and Mplayer to play video but here is my problem, I can't seem to make Mplayer play an udp stream coming from VLC (on my pc) :
I'm trying Mplayer udp:// but it can't  open this url.

Now when I try with VLC (on the zaurus) it works but the video is played in portrait mode only in the upper part of the screen and only half of the video is shown.
I've seen on another forum that someone managed to overcome this but he didn't say how, so Zack if you recognize yourself, please tell us how you did it. (or if someone else  has an idea ...)

Thanks

EDIT: Ok found it on a japanese site you just have to type:
vlc --filter transform --transform-type 270 xxx.avi
didn't try the streaming but it should work
